The weather was good this year and we managed to play all games,
under the new format, which allowed us to have a final between
"Top Gun 7" and "It'll Never Work". It was again a great tournament and brilliant
cricket was enjoyed by everyone right from the first ball of the day when
Emma Pearce from "Village Girls 1" clean bowled Mark Allcock from the
"Morris Dancers".

THANKS to Kelton and Chris Scott, and Simon Lunn for again organising the
days events. A massive THANK YOU to all teams that took part and made
it yet another great day. Bloxwich CC again broke the Club’s bar takings
record and raised more money than ever.

Every team made the effort and dressed for the occasion, this years prizes
for best dressed teams went to The Big Boys who peformed as "The Morris Dancers"
and the Womens squad who performed as

"The Village Girls":

Again there are so many people to thank for their support on the day,
EVERYONE who took part or helped in some way deserves a pat on the
back….
THANK YOU to Joan and Mike Scott, and Auntie Pauline for the
all day grill and evening curry.
Thanks again Joan for the Tombola stall, which again sold out, but
is only possible because of your donations, so, "THANK YOU"
everyone who donated gifts.
Thanks Des Smith for his money raising idea of nearest the flag
with a golf ball. This really was a money maker thanks to
Des's time and effort and mans need to beat his mate!!!

Thanks who bought tickets for the Newlands Cricket Ground print
which was won by Gary Fellows and kindly donated to the Club.
It's now hung proudly on the Clubhouse wall.
Thanks to Carol and John behind the bar for their support in helping
Bloxwich CC again smash the bar takings record.
